Cookies
This site uses Ionos and Google Analytics cookies. Cookies are also stored if you fill in a form on this website. Google Analytics uses these to track visits to our site and your journey through it. Ionos uses cookies to control access, and any forms may use them to remember your data. You may delete and block these, but parts of the site may not work if you do so. Personal data
If you fill in a form or leave a comment on this website any personal data you choose to give us is sent to our hosting service’s server over a secure (HTTPS) link. Only specific people connected with Cheadle Civic Society and who have been issued with a password can access this data.
We also hold personal data on Members collected through membership application forms. This data is collected and held offline.
Whether held online or offline you agree that we may use this data to send you information about the Society, to respond to your message(s) and generally to manage your relationship with the Society.
Third parties
The postal addresses of Members who have asked to receive our newsletter and other documents by post are sent to our printers by encrypted file before any printed material is sent out. CCS is not responsible for the printer’s use of this data but our contracted printer has confirmed that they will hold our data securely, delete it when they have completed our processing and not pass it on to any third Party without our authorisation.
Other than as above, except in the highly unlikely circumstances of being required to do so by a Court of Law we will never pass your email address or any other personal information to anyone outside Cheadle Civic Society.
For further information about how we collect, store, transmit and delete personal data please write to us at
