The Cheadle Heritage Trail outlines the rich history of our village through a series of information boards that help bring Cheadle's history to life.

Every board highlights the story of a place, building or person that has contributed to our shared story - from historic landmarks to memorable characters.

There are currently nine points on the Trail, with a tenth to follow very soon. They tell the story of:

Cheadle Green, James 'Scotch Bob' Telford, Cheadle Hall, the Stables & Barn that used to occupy a site on the Green, Abney Hall, Agatha Christie, the Alcock Family, Brooklyn Crescent Park and Cheadle Primary School.

There’s no set route - you can explore the Trail in the order that suits you.
